Beth Gaschen Chosen to Participate in NCBJ Next Generation Committee

Weiland Golden Friedman LLP is pleased to announce partner Beth E. Gaschen was selected to participate in the sixth annual Next Generation Program of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges in San Francisco. Gaschen is one of 40 candidates chosen from a lottery program of nominees, who met the high standards of excellence necessary for the nomination process to participate in the program. The Next Generation Program is an elite program for lawyers with 5 to 10 years of experience who are perceived by their colleagues to be the industry leaders of the next generation of bankruptcy practitioners.

At the annual NBCJ Meeting being held in October 2016, an exclusive session that includes 20 bankruptcy judges from around the country will meet with these program participants in a roundtable, small-group environment to provide them with the opportunity to learn directly “what judges are really thinking.”

“I am honored to be nominated by my colleagues to participate in the NCBJ Next Generation Program and look forward to the opportunity to participate in the upcoming annual meeting,” stated Gaschen.

Gaschen assists clients in their bankruptcy and insolvency matters, including business and bankruptcy-related litigation. She represents chapter 11 debtors, trustees, official committees, secured and unsecured creditors, and others, in chapter 7 and chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Gaschen was a Director of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, and as its President in 2013 and 2014. She was also selected to the Southern California Super Lawyers 2015 and 2016 Rising Stars List.
